Description
This traditional handmade Himachali Footwear is called Poodhe or Pulla depending on which Pahadi region you're in. Interestingly, the base of the Poodhe are made from the stems of Bhaang (Cannibis) and have been part of Himachali tradition for over a century.
The colorful woven part was traditionally made out of Goat hair, but now wool has replaced that aspect. These are intricately woven designs made by hand, and have been a cornerstone of Himachali tradition. Worn indoors, in temples and perfect for the harsh Himachali winters, We celebrate India by bringing traditional folk art to modern India
