For many of us, having beautiful, glowing skin is an all-year goal. Every season has different difficulties, such as the hot summer sun or the dry winter air. Here are five easy steps to maintain healthy, radiant skin throughout the year.

Keeping your skin hydrated is essential no matter the season. Drink plenty of water each day to help your skin stay moisturized from the inside. Aim for at least 8 glasses of water daily, and drink more if you’re active or it’s hot outside.


On the outside, use hydrating skincare products like serums and creams. In winter, choose rich, oil-based moisturizers to combat dry air. In summer, switch to lighter, water-based gels that hydrate without making your skin feel greasy.

It's essential to shield your skin from the sun all year round. UV radiation may harm your skin, speeding the aging process and raising your chance of developing skin cancer. Even in the chilly weather, apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 daily.


For further summer protection, wear hats and sunglasses and reapply sunscreen every two hours. Remember that snow reflects UV rays during the winter, so use sunscreen even in the cold.
